Twice monthly Clinical Society Meeting is conducted with participation of faculty and students of all the departments. This meeting provides opportunity to come across developments in other departments.
Endowment lectures / orations are conducted annually by most of the departments. Students get ample opportunities to listen to and interact with the award-winning national & international experts.
Prize examinations are conducted in almost all the departments. Madras Medical College is the institution offering maximum number of prize examinations in the entire state.
Students are encouraged and motivated to participate in regional & national level competitive academic events. They are guided to organise state level annual academic conclave also (GENESIS).
