Liver Transplant ICU

LOCATION: Hepatology and Biliary Science Block, 5th floor

• It is a state-of-the-art ICU at MMC–RGGGH dedicated to post-liver transplant patients, started in the year 2023.
• This modern technology-embedded unit is a 4-bed facility managed by a team of anesthesiologists, hepatologists, intensivists, and surgical gastroenterologists.
• The ICU is equipped with multi-parameter monitors featuring advanced patient monitoring systems like:
  • PICCO (Pulse Contour Cardiac Output Monitor)
  • Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) machine
  • ROTEM (Rotational Thromboelastometry)
• So far, 10 patients have successfully undergone liver transplantation.
