Micro Biology

Central Lab OP-7

  • Central lab in microbiology is receiving clinical samples from outpatient’s department attending the RGGGH.
  • The microbiological analysis of various clinical samples are carried out in the Biosafety cabinet.
  • The investigations done are:
    • Direct microscopic examinations for bacterial and fungal infections
    • Bacterial culture and identification
    • Antimicrobial susceptibility testing done by both Automated and Conventional methods
  • Rapid serological testing for viral diagnosis is done.
